| Message | As a curator (regional studies), certified eco-tour guide for the Amami Islands, and licensed tour guide, I have lived for many years on Tokunoshima Island in the Amami Islands, one of the four islands registered as a World Natural Heritage site in 2021, listening attentively to the voices of the islanders and nature. In this region, known as the "Island of Longevity and Fertility" due to its high birth rate and one of the world's highest rates of centenarians, I currently serve as the head of the town history compilation office in the Social Education Division of Isen Town, documenting the island's history, culture, language, and nature. As a tour guide, I also convey the essential value of the Amami Islands to domestic and international visitors, based on academic backing and my local network. Focusing primarily on Tokunoshima Island, I have extensive guiding experience, including individual tours, guided tours for local school teachers, international youth camps, embassy tours, and pre-show guiding for television and radio appearances. I utilize both Japanese and English to guide various needs, including travel, research, inspections, and business. Currently, I am only available on weekends and public holidays. |
